i read this book series called the last dragon chronicles which is about a boy called david who is about 16 years old and is a lodger. he moved into a house whith a mother called liz and her daughter lucy. the mother liz makes clay dragons and makes one for david called gadzooks who is a writing dragon. the dragons are not alive but when ever david gets stuck writing a story he imagines the dragon writing a word on his pad which helps david keep writing.

The first book of the last dragon chronicles is called The Fire Within which is about David when he first moved in and Lucy who was about 8 told him about the squirrels who lived in there tree. One of the squirrels names was Conker who only had one eye eye. There where a lot more squirrels who lived in the tree but David decided to write a story about Conker for Lucy’s birthday.
